Steve McQueen's Head

A friend of mine put an old story of mine (It's on my blog somewhere) up on his website... If you haven't read my brown bag story to http://www.stevemcqueenshead.com/

I got my new T-shirt (like the new design) which reminded me about the story. The site consistently makes me laug so go look at it.

Uh, I am looking for a 1981 Topps Carl Yazschremski card to complete my collection of players whose names I can't spell.

You wanna trade?

Hello There!

My name is Nigel Ficklebottom and I am from Chesterton, Indiana. Thank you for posting my question! I thought that since you are a big Cubs fan you might have some Carl Yazschremski cards to trade.

Anyhow, I have read much of your blog and I think you are a very smart young man. I am also into the indie music scene, so we have something in common! Have you ever been to Hooligan’s on Broadway? They always have some swell musicians ‘honing their craft’. Also, last year’s Battle of the Bands at Chesterton High School was really the cat’s pajamas!

Hello There!

This is Nigel again. How’s that leg of yours feeling? I know how disagreeable that can be, as a few years back I had a vasectomy because my girl didn’t want me to knock her up!

Anyhow, I am pretty excited nowadays because Chesterton’s annual summer festival is fast approaching and it always has some jim-dandy local musicians! Last year, they had a young gentleman; I believe his name was Craig, who played quite a few Thin Lizzie classics on his acoustic guitar! Unfortunately, his performance was cut short by the Chesterton police due to some incident with a llama at the children’s petting zoo (or so I heard).

Well, I hope to hear from you soon. God Bless!

Nigel
