more reaons why Obama is the better of the three dems

When asked what is your weakness was in the debate. Obama actually gave an answer he can be disorganized with his desk, and his papers. "I tell my staffers, don't give me that sheet of paper till two minutes before I need it, cause I'll lose it"

What do we get from the other two, political hack bullshit. Edwards: I care to much. Clinton: I'm too impatient for good things to happen to good people. What? You're weaknesses are that you just have TOO big of a heart. HACKS.... I've heard this crap before. You two should go back to doing what you do, and let us have a different type of politician.

There is virtually zero difference in policy between these three... The only real difference I see is the tone, the ability to inspire people outside of the system. Vote Obama.

what I don't like about clinton

She's dirty. As far as I've heard it's not the Obama camp that's making a big deal out of the MLK statements she's made. It's the media. However Clinton is claiming that Obama is using this as an attack, meanwhile she's employing people like Bob Johnson to attack Obama on race, and an admitted use of drugs that Big Bill (whom I still love) clearly did as well.

here's Bob Johnson at a Clinton rally... I want to hear what people (names!) who are implying this attack on Clinton.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbq9_g-WfFk

I think there is a chance here to run a different type of campaign, but Obama can, Clinton is more of the same. Here's Clinton using her own verbal blunder as an attack on Obama. Euck. Somehow it's Obama's fault the Hilary can't keep her ego in check.

Add this to the "Obama went to school at a medrassah" fairy tale and you have an idea of how Miss Clinton's campaign works. And if you don't believe that this came out of the Clinton camp then you live in a fairy tale.

Hilary Clinton would make a very good president. I honestly believe that, but I want America to undergo a new wave of patriotism, and I think Obama can bring a new generation into the political arena as JFK did.

** authors note... Obama's people were pushing the story. My bad. But there is still no need to attack on Obama's teen years.

Matt Taibbi on Bill Maher last friday

This guy is pretty bright.

Maher: "What about john McCain?...."

Taibbi: "Well... Ya Know that's another thing that annoys me about the media. McCain get's a bus and paints Stright Talk Express on the side of it, 5 minutes later every reporter in the country is like "He's a straight talker." Ya know... I mean you can send any shit up the flag pole and all these reporters will just F---in' salute"

You have to admit Tony Snow is smart as hell to... as much as I hate the guy.

Republican Debate and Ron Paul.

Anybody watch the NH republican debate.

http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=%22ABC%2FWMUR%2FFacebook+NH+republican+debate%22&hl=en&so=1&sitesearch=

So the most ridiculous part of the debate is the way the other candidates (and later FOX news) treats Ron Paul. The guy is raising more money than Clinton or Obama, he got 11% in Iowa, and is polling nationally according to Gallup at 5%. If any of the front runners could take some, any of Ron Paul's ideas and add that 5% to their totals they would assure their victories. These other candidates are laughing at not just Ron Paul but the 5% of America that supports him fervently.

I'm not a big Ron Paul supporter, but hell it just shows us that the American elite is terrified of new ideas.... so terrified that the have to laugh it away.

cancun (part 3)

After Talum we headed out to Chicen Itza, which was cool. However we had the most obnoxious tour guide, who alternated between treating us like children, and scolding us for being evil tourists who have ruined his culture. Us nasty tourists ruined their farming, their fishing and everything else good about mayan culture. Very angry man... My dad kept cracking jokes at him, which I found funny.

We ditched the group and ran around at Chicen Itza. The site was fairly impressive, including a sporting arena, and of course the pyramid.

After we went to lunch at a traditional place where these kids did dances with beer bottles on their heads. It was impressive and kind of silly at the same time. After getting home we went to an Italian restaurant that we had to wait way to long for... but at least we got to watch a Kyle Minogue concert video.

New Rules

I saw the Halloween remake... and I think Rob Zombie has a distinct misunderstanding about what makes Micheal Myers scary. Micheal Myers was this little suburban kid, who slaughters his sister with a knife inexplicably. No explanation, no reason, just evil. What Mr Zombie does is make him a sympathetic killer, a tortured child from a broken home. Phooey on you Mr. Zombie.

Which brings me to my new rule. Stop remaking horror movies. No J horror remakes, 70's horror remakes, no remakes of any kind. If you're going to make a movie have the common decency to have an somewhat new idea. I know the viewing public is full of lazy shits who eat this shit up, but please don't give us what we want. Make us think a little... and at the very least scare us.
